If you have a Yahoo ID, you can read all the South Shore Events messages online, as well as see and use the calendar feature.
And if you wish, you can change your personal settings so that you don't get messages by e-mail.
1. Go to http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/south_shore_events/messages (will open in new window).
2.A. If you don't have a Yahoo ID, create one. Then go to step 2.B.,
2.B. If you have a Yahoo ID, enter your ID and password.
2.A.1 - If it says that you're not a member of the group - because you didn't use the ID to sign up for the list, click on "Already receiving Group e-mail?" bottom left. Then you have the opportunity to add the e-mail address that you used to sign up. Follow the directions given. You'll get a verification e-mail at your non-Yahoo address and you'll have to follow the instructions to verify that your Yahoo ID and your other e-mail address both belong to you. (They seem to be pretty careful about this.) You have to log in again with your Yahoo ID, "check for memberships" again, then when they find the list, click on "Get Web Access". Finally, you'll reach a page where you can select which address you want to receive messages, as well as other settings.
